Theme Show Events

We have four special exhibits a year to encourage our members to participate and display their art.  Each exhibit is based on a theme for the show.  The entry fee is $5 per art piece entered into the show and is only available to current members of the Victoria Art League.

"Break It Down" Theme Show

September 5 - October 7, 2019
Opening and Reception:  Thursday, September 5th 5:00 - 7:00 pm

CONTEMPORARY ABSTRACT ART!   Let your imagination run wild as you design your masterpiece for this show. Let color, line, shape, texture and form define your art work, which will be independent of representative artwork. In the words of Oscar Wilde, “Mere color unspoiled by meaning and unallied with definite form, speaks to the soul in a thousand different ways.” Go for it!
